Team ambassador Rushia Brown had the opportunity to spread her love of reading as a “reading chair” during the National Association of Educators Read Across America Day. This year the National Education Association’s Read Across America program toured the country with “Cat-a-Vans” to deliver an important message: Children who read — and are read to — do better in school and life. We were delighted to have Rushia be a part of the Cat-a-Van kick-off on Friday, February 29, at the Imagine It! Children’s Museum in Atlanta. Over 200 local kids were present to kick off Read Across America Day and the birthday of beloved children's author Theodor (Dr. Seuss) Geisel.
