Overseas Update - Nov. 19

Erika de Souza � Sport Recife (Brazil): Sport Recife has not yet begun its season.

Tiffany Hayes � Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion (Israel): Hayes� team fell to 0-2 with a close 64-63 loss to Maccabi R. Hen on Nov. 12. Hayes finished with 13 points, 11 rebounds six assists and a pair of steals. In two games she is now averaging 17.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 3.5 steals.

Aneika Henry � Rivas Ecopolis (Spain): Henry helped Rivas Ecopolis improve to 2-1 in the EuroLeague during an 84-65 victory over UNI Gyor of Hungary on Nov. 15. She started and posted totals of eight points and seven rebounds, and is now averaging 9.7 points and 9.7 boards in EuroLeague games. Henry played 14 minutes off the bench during Rivas Ecopolis� 75-62 victory over Burgos in the Spanish League the next night. She totaled seven points and six rebounds, and now averages 7.8 points and 5.4 rebounds in five Spanish League games for Rivas Ecopolis, which is 6-0 in that league.

Laurie Koehn � Logan Thunder (Australia): Koehn poured in 26 points, sinking six three-pointers, and added four rebounds and three assists, but the Logan Thunder fell to the Bulleen Boomers, 85-76 on Nov. 16, to slip to 2-6 in the Australian League. Koehn is now averaging a team-best 17.2 points in five games, and has made 20-of-42 three-pointers (47.6 percent).

Cathrine Kraayeveld � Shinhan Bank (South Korea): Kraayeveld played in her first game with Shinhan Bank on Nov. 18, starting and totaling eight points, 12 rebounds, two assists and two blocked shots. However, her team dropped a 66-51 decision to Bichumi to slip to 8-3 in the South Korean League this season, which puts them in second place.

Yelena Leuchanka � Liaoning (China): Liaoning split two games last week to move to 5-2. In an 81-57 loss to Shanxi on Nov. 13, Leuchanka totaled 17 points and eight rebounds, shooting 5-of-9 from the field and making all seven free throw attempts. During an 82-73 win over Henan on Nov. 17, she collected 16 points and 12 boards. For the season, she is averaging 18.4 points and 8.1 rebounds in seven games for Liaoning.

Sancho Lyttle � Galatasaray (Turkey): Galarasaray remained in first place in Group C in the EuroLeague, improving to 4-0 with a 58-47 win against USO Mondeville of France on Nov. 14. Lyttle started but played just 18 minutes, contributing nine points and six rebounds. She is now averaging 10.8 points and 8.5 boards in four EuroLeague games. On Nov. 17, Lyttle helped Galatasaray improve to 4-1 in the Turkish League with a 69-63 win over Istanbul Univ., scoring eight points and grabbing five boards off the bench. She is averaging 11.4 points and 6.4 rebounds in five Turkish League games.

Angel McCoughtry � Fenerbahce (Turkey): McCoughtry helped Fenerbahce improve to 2-1 in Group B in the EuroLeague with a 77-71 victory over UE Sopron of Hungary on Nov. 14. She totaled 11 points, eight rebounds, three assists and three steals, and is now averaging 13.0 points, 7.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2.3 steals in three EuroLeague games. On Nov. 18, she helped Fenerbahce improve to 5-0 in the Turkish League with an 85-54 victory over TED Ankara, coming off the bench to collect 18 points, four boards and two assists. She now averages team highs of 18.0 points and 8.2 rebounds in five Turkish League games.
