ATLANTA, November 10, 2010 - Atlanta Dream forward Angel McCoughtry will have her jersey retired by the University of Louisville as the Cardinals open their season on November 12 against the Tennessee Lady Vols.

Louisville will retire McCoughtry’s jersey in front of a sellout crowd of over 22,000 at the newly opened KFC Yum! Center in downtown Louisville. McCoughtry is the first female athlete in school history to have her jersey retired.

McCoughtry was selected by the Dream with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2009 WNBA draft after an outstanding collegiate career at Louisville.
