Dream to Host "Take the Show on the Road" at Carrollton High School

ATLANTA, Sept. 12, 2012 – The Atlanta Dream will continue its 2012 “Take the Show on the Road” presented by Walmart campaign with a visit to Carrollton High School on Monday, Sept. 17. It will mark the sixth and final open practice at various high schools across the region by the Dream this year.

The event, hosted by the Lady Trojan basketball team, is open to the public and will run from 3:30-8 p.m. At the Dream’s practice, which will take place from 6-8 p.m., fans will have the opportunity to win prizes and get autographs from Dream players and coaches. Tickets for the upcoming 2012 WNBA Playoffs will also be available for purchase during the event.

In addition, a community fair focusing on health awareness will take place from 3:30-6 p.m. prior to the open practice. Companies participating in the event include Tanner Medical Center, Southern Crescent Area Agency on Aging, the Army, and representatives from the Malcolm Omari Hill Scholarship fund to promote Safe Driving.
