It’s time to GET LOUD! The WNBA’s Atlanta Dream is bringing halftime excitement to your Girls Varsity Basketball Game. Eight high schools in the metro Atlanta area have been selected to have the Dream game atmosphere come alive at their own high school gym! The Dream will bring elements of the in-game experience, which includes the official team mascot “Star” (when available), in-game Host/MC CJ from 95.5 the Beat, members of the “Shooting Stars” cheer team, and a Dream player available to give a motivational pep talk. The Dream will pump up your high school's fans with pumping music, high energy excitement, and lots of free giveaways. Your fans are guaranteed to experience the same electric atmosphere that helped attract and entertain thousands of passionate fans to Philips Arena this summer for the Dream’s inaugural season.

Congratulations! The following schools have been selected to participate in the 2009 Halftime Mania Program: Berkmar High School (Lilburn, GA), Columbia High School (Decatur, GA), Dunwoody High School (Dunwoody, GA), Hillgrove High School (Powder Springs, GA), Kennesaw Mountain High School (Kennesaw, GA), Lithonia High School (Lithonia, GA), Riverwood High School (Sandy Springs, GA), Stephenson High School (Stone Mountain, GA).
