Q&A: Rebekkah Brunson, Pick #10, Sacramento Monarchs
Brunson: No. But I heard itís nice. Iím really excited. Iíve been in [Washington] D.C. my entire life, I think it will be good for me to get away and experience another city.
Q: You got to meet your new teammate, Kara Lawson, here. Was it the first time you met Kara?
Brunson: No, I met her before. She was from the surrounding areas, the metropolitan areas. I always crossed her path in A.A.U. and such.
Q: Who are you most looking forward to playing with?
Brunson: Kara Lawson is great. Sheís a great guard. I think that the team has so many great players, Iíll just be able to learn as much as possible my first year and hopefully later on make an impact.
Q: What position do you think youíre most comfortable playing in the WNBA?
Brunson: I would say the three, like a slasher. I think Iím kind of small to be in the post. So I think Iíll become a three in this league.
