As Director of Security for the WNBA, Alicia Parker is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the WNBA and overseeing the safety of the league's players, officials and representatives. In addition, she is responsible for arena safety and security, as well as security at all WNBA special events.

Parker has been with the WNBA since its 1997 inaugural season, joining the league after a 22-year career with the New York City Police Department. She retired from the NYPD in 1995 as a Lieutenant Detective Commander.

Parker graduated from New York University with a B.A. in psychology.
