The final results from 2003 WNBA All-Star Balloting are in, and Houston Comets forward Sheryl Swoopes has topped all players in fan votes cast. This marks the fourth time in five seasons that Swoopes was honored as the league's top vote getter (1999, 2000, 2002, 2003).

Find out what the 2002 WNBA MVP had to say about the season so far, what her predictions are for the rest of 2003, and how she feels about once again earning the honor of top vote-getter in WNBA All-Star Balloting.

Jerald (New Orleans, LA): Sheryl, I voted for you all the time. How does it feel to get leading vote getter again?

Sheryl Swoopes: Wow. It's definitely an honor. I feel special that all the fans voted for me. It's an honor to be picked the fourth time. Thanks to the fans for voting for me...again!

Phil(Chicago): Hey Sheryl! You are my all time favorite player. i am so happy that you have overcome the injury. I wanted to know what is the most difficult part of playing in the WNBA?

Sheryl Swoopes: The fact that the season is so short. We play a lot of games in a short amount time. We also don't fly on private planes, which makes it difficult on back-to-back games. For me, being a mom and a player is tough timewise, but I find a way.

Krystie (Ontario, Canada): What do you think it will take for the Houston Comets to win the title this year?

Sheryl Swoopes: A lot of things. I think the one thing we've lost, that we had in the past, is a bit of our hunger and heart. Every time we stepped out there, we were ready to play. Right now, we don't have that. We have to get that back before we can win another title. L.A. is very good. The road to the championship will go through there. We have the talent. It's just a question of whether we have the drive.

Lydia (Flint, MI): While you were growing up whose style of play did you pattern yours to?

Sheryl Swoopes: I watched quite a few players. Like everybody, I loved Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen. I watched them a lot, and liked their games.

Deron (Dayton, OH): What are you looking forward to most in your 4th WNBA All-Star?

Sheryl Swoopes: Getting back in New York City where it all started. It's great to be back in the city, and playing against and with the best players in the league. It's always fun playing in the All-Star game.

Emily: Hey, congratulations! I was just wondering, if you had to pick a player, other than yourself, for WNBA MVP this year who would you choose and why? Thank you and good luck in the All-Star game and with the rest of the season!

Sheryl Swoopes: Right now...hmmm...probably a couple. I think I would pick Lisa Leslie. She is having a great season on both ends of the floor. She is also a great leader. Other players having a great season are Swin Cash and Shannon Johnson. I would not pick myself.

Takamma (Yonkers, NY): HOW DOES IT FEEL TO SEE PEOPLE WEARING YOUR JEREY?

Sheryl Swoopes: It's a great feeling. When I was a teenager, there were no WNBA jerseys. It's a great feeling to see people with your jersey on. What's also amazing is to see your jersey in other cities, not just Houston.

Susan (Katy, TX): Which team do you enjoy playing the most and why?

Sheryl Swoopes: There is not just one team. The Silver Stars and the Sparks are huge games. Those would be our biggest rivals. But we always play Phoenix and Sacramento tough as well.

Gene (Parlin, NJ): Hi Sheryl, first off I would just like to tell you that I think you are nothing short of amazing, watching you play the game is always a treat and you possess pure, true talent. My question is: Having suffered the same horrible, season-ending injury (torn ACL), what words of comfort and/or advice do you have for Becky Hammon, who was having a rather Swoopes-like year herself until the unfortunate injury? Thank You for your reply and good luck with the rest of the season. P.S. -- PLEASE BEAT L.A.!!!!!!

Sheryl Swoopes: First, I felt very bad for her. She was having an incredible season. They will miss her. It's hard to see the games and teammates and not be part of it, but the more it goes on, the easier it gets. One piece of advice is to keep your head up and take your time coming back. You can come back and be better than before!

Carrie (Grand Rapids, MI): Hi Sheryl - I am the proud owner of two pairs of "your shoes". Does Nike have any plans to release another shoe? Best wishes for a GREAT SEASON!

Sheryl Swoopes: I am not sure which she has. I have a new shoe, and it should be available this month. Thanks for enjoying the shoes.

Karlie (Pipe Creek, TX): We know that you will be a starter for the western conference All-star team, but who would you like to see as the reserve guards? What about Jennifer Azzi or Ticha Penicheiro?

Sheryl Swoopes: I like both of them. They are both great point guards. I have played with both before, and either one is great.

Celeste Bennington,VT: Sheryl what do you think of being the top vote-getter and having two of your teammates in the starting five with you?

Sheryl Swoopes: That's incredible! I play with Tina [Thompson] which makes my job easier. Cynthia [Cooper] came back and is injured, but the fans still voted her in. That says so much. It's an honor to be an All-Star, but to be the top vote-getter is humbling. It really shows the love from the fans.

Ebony (Augusta): how is your ankle?

Sheryl Swoopes: Horrible (laughs). It's still tender. It's not 100%. I don't want to sit out and let it get completely better, so I am managing.

Gabby (York, AL): you are a excellent basketball player, and i wish i could meet you one day. What gives you the inspiration to continue to play basketball

Sheryl Swoopes: Two things: It's fun and my son. He loves basketball and makes it fun for me. He gets a lot of enjoyment out of it.

Luther (Houston, TX): Congratulations on being the top vote getter for the All Star gane once again. With the new players coming out of college, and the dispersal draft from Portland and Miami, there is much more parity in the WNBA. With that in mind, can we expect the East to be more competitive, and possibly win in this year's all star game?

Sheryl Swoopes: Definitely. I was telling someone that the East's records look like the West's in the past. The dispersal draft has evened it out. Just look at Detroit. They are 8-2 and playing well. I don't think you can count the East out - in the championship or All-Star Game.

Tara (Rocky Mount, NC): Sheryl, I have yet another question. What is a typical Housotn Comets practice like?

Sheryl Swoopes: Usually, we will warm up and stretch. Then we'll have some 3-on-3. Then we'll go over plays and strategy. We don't spend much time on conditioning, due to the short season.

Sheryl Swoopes: I would like to say thank you to everybody who sent in the questions. And thank you to all the people who voted for me. I wouldn't be where I am today without my fans.
