Ever dreamed of having a career in the sports industry ... like working behind the scenes in the WNBA's league office, or becoming a part of your favorite team's front office staff or better yet, interviewing your favorite WNBA star at courtside as part of your job?
On Thursday, April 26, the WNBA took part in "Take Our Daughters to Work Day" with a panel discussion at the NBA Store in New York City. This event was an effort to create awareness about the various career opportunities for women in sports.
The panel featured prominent women in the sports industry including WNBA President Val Ackerman,
Inside Stuff's Summer Sanders and WNBA President Val Ackerman.

NBA Inside Stuff, emceed the event for a live, in-store audience of high school juniors and seniors.
Webcast on WNBA.com, the Q&A session gave fans from around the world the opportunity to participate by emailing questions to the panelists as they discussed their career experiences and offered advice. Several WNBA teams partnered with high schools in their local area to also listen and participate in the live event through the webcast.
